Adding an Agent Homepage
To add a new Agent Homepage you'll find the Add Agent Homepage function as below. Every new System will have two default Homepages, a default (client) User Dashboard and a default Agent Homepage. The two default Homepages are available to all Users/Teams unless a custom Agent Homepage is enabled for an Agent. You cannot customise a Homepage for a Client, they will always have the default Homepage.
Adding a new Agent Homepage starts with giving it a name.
Name: Give your new Dashboard a descriptive name, Level 1 Support Team for example would be the Agent Homepage for your Level 1 Support Team.
Internal Note: In this section you can add any notes that you require to be attached to the Agent Homepage, handy to store additional details of what the Agent Homepage is for.
Use the Add Agent Homepage button to create your new Agent Homepage.
Adding Users/Teams to a Agent Homepage
Once you've created your custom Agent Homepage and added the Queues you want displayed, you can now use the Add Users/Teams functionality to assign this new Agent Homepage to a User, group of Users or Team/Teams.
Adding Agent Homepage Users/teams
Type and name field
Type: This is the type of Agent Homepage this is going to be used for, whether for an individual User or a Team.
Name: Choosing a User will populate the dropdown menu below with a list of Users currently registered on your system to choose from. If you choose Team then the same will be true for the dropdown menu where you will get to choose from the list of available Teams on your system.
Editing Agent Homepage
As with most options you can edit the Agent Homepage (not the default ones), using the Edit icon button on the far right of each Agent Homepage to rename or change who the Agent Homepage Applies to.
